Variations on a Theme

Variations on a Theme (About Time) considers the art institution as a contested space between carcerality and transgression. Although the museum has historically functioned as a site of extraction and exploitation, it can also encourage radical ideas and practices. What are the roles and responsibilities of the art world in abolitionist movement-building?

Phantom of the Anthropocene

Phantom of the Anthropocene calls for collective pondering. The interactive installation invites visitors to  consider what it means to be human in the midst of ongoing systemic dehumanization. I hope the work sparks conversations about collective accountability and transformation; abolitionist justice, abundance, and reparations/repair/re-creation.

As the axiom goes, crisis breeds opportunity.
